BRIDGE was asked by the City of South San Francisco to develop housing on a one-acre site at the corner of Mission Road and Chestnut Avenue for residents with at least one household member 62 or older. A charming community, Chestnut Creek is within walking distance of shopping, health care, social services, and recreation areas, and is near the South San Francisco BART station. The design, in a “Mission Eclectic” style, features a community room that opens onto a central courtyard.
